How this calendar works
- Only confirmed dates. We do not list a date unless a studio, publisher, or official storefront has stated it.
- Milestones, not just launches. A calendar entry can be a test window, an early access period, or a full release; each row says which one it is.
- Dates can move. Development schedules change. If a date is later pushed back or forward, treat this page's "Checked" date as the point our information was current.
- No invented months. If a title has only a year or a season confirmed (for example, "fall 2027"), we show that instead of guessing an exact date.

What "confirmed" means here
Studios sometimes float a target window before locking a date, and dates occasionally get pushed. For example, Aion 2's launch was discussed as a September window before NCsoft's gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live appearance confirmed October 5 as the actual global date, with a September Launch Scale Test and a separate paid early access window ahead of it. Where we found earlier, less specific reporting superseded by a later official statement, we used the later, official one.
Platform and region notes
- Aion 2: PC via Steam and NCsoft's PURPLE platform; launch regions are North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
- Valheim 1.0: adds PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 to existing PC, Mac, Linux, and Xbox support, with full crossplay across all of them.
- World of Warcraft: Forever: PC only, through the Battle.net desktop app.
- Lord of Mysteries: PC, Android and iOS, but the open beta live now is limited to mainland China; a global, English-supported release has been signposted for later without a confirmed date.
- Guild Wars 3: PC via Steam and PlayStation 5, marking the series' first console release.
FAQ
Why does Aion 2 appear with three different dates?
Because it has three separate, officially confirmed milestones: a short pre-launch stress test (September 17 to 18), a paid early access window for Founder's Pack buyers (September 30 to October 4), and the actual global, free-to-play launch (October 5). All three come from NCsoft's own announcements.
Is the Lord of Mysteries beta open worldwide?
No. As of our check date, the open beta that began August 21, 2026 is limited to mainland China. A global release has been signposted by the publisher but not dated yet.
Will this calendar be updated if a date changes?
Yes, that is the purpose of this page. The "Checked" date at the top shows when it was last verified; treat any date here as the studio's position as of that check.
